B. Ned Divine, 95 of rural Bunker Hill, Illinois died Saturday, February 4, 2017 at his residence in Bunker Hill, Illinois. Born July 15, 1921 in Greenville, Kentucky, he was a son of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Hosea Dallas Divine. He married Freda Neptune on April 28, 1941 in Bremen, Kentucky and she passed away in February 2013. He worked as a Carpenter and Teacher (taught building trades in high schools). He also repaired Wurlitzer Juke Boxes and Amplifiers.  He served in World War II with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He also served in the South Pacific. He was a member of the DAV (Disabled American Veterans).

He is survived by 2 Sons, Jay (Kim Cerny) Divine of St. Louis, MO and Dal (Carolyn) Divine of Bunker Hill, IL; 1 Daughter, Vicki Divine of Madison, IL; 6 Grandchildren, Joshua, Maddie, Joe, Troy, and Sam Divine & Andy Marc Baker; 3 Great Grandchildren, Anthony & Isabella Divine and Brandon Carpenter (Ericka Rouse); 3 Great Great Grandchildren, Tristan & Amber Carpenter and Myles Divine; 1 Brother, Robert Divine of Lebanon, TN. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Son, Drew Divine; 3 Brothers & 4 Sisters.

Remains were donated to Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. Memorials are suggested to The Divine Foundation, 15562 Schoolhouse Road, Bunker Hill, IL 62014.
