Julius W. Goedecke III, 92 of Staunton, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at his residence in Staunton, Illinois. Born March 13, 1924 in St. Louis, Missouri, he was a son of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Julius and Ionette (Lessmann) Goedecke. He married Anna Mae Anderson on November 22, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri and she survives. He was a Salesman for Universal Match Company in St. Louis, Missouri for many years. He was a veteran.

He is survived by his Wife, Anna Mae Goedecke of Staunton, IL; 1 Brother, Ted Goedecke; and 1 Sister, Ionette.

No services are scheduled. Interment of cremains will be in Staunton City Cemetery later.
