Virginia Mae (Mriscin) Kelso

Virginia Mae (Mriscin) Kelso, 65, of Sorento, IL passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield, IL. Born December 29, 1955, she was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Edward & Nina Mae (Bishop) Mriscin. She married Robert Kelso on July 27, 1996 and he survives. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, crocheting, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Kelso of Sorento, IL, 1 son, Lewis (Jennifer) Anderson of Staunton, IL, 1 grandson, Jeremy (Mady) Anderson of Sorento, IL, 1 granddaughter, Jaci (Dallas) Anderson of Staunton, IL , 5 siblings, Arthur (Jennifer) Mriscin New Douglas, IL , Edward (Linda Kay) Mriscin, Alhambra, IL, Mary Kay (Larry) Hopper of Staunton, IL , Ruby “Sam” McCarty of New Douglas, IL, Carol Jean Mriscin of Lacey, WA. Great nieces, Brittney and Kali, great great nephew – Kevin.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 stepson – Steven Amos, and 1 sister- Donna Marie Reitmeyer, brother-in-law – William Michael McCarty.

Private Graveside services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton. Memorials are suggested to the family.
