Victoria L. "Vicky" (Schoen) Mettler

Victoria L. "Vicky" Mettler, 67, of New Douglas, IL, passed away on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.  She was born January 19, 1957 in Litchfield, IL, the daughter of the late Robert & Doris (Geller) Schoen.  She married Tom Mettler on September 30, 1977 in Greenville, IL & he survives.

She was primarily a homemaker, but also was a licensed Beautician for many years, & was a member of New Douglas Baptist Church in New Douglas, IL.

She is survived by her husband -  Tom Mettler of New Douglas, IL;  two daughters -  Jennifer (Matthew) Mucklow of New Douglas, IL,  &  Nicky (John) Lansford of New Douglas, IL;  five grandchildren -  Alayna Lansford,  Luke Mucklow,  Owen Lansford,  Audrey Mucklow,  &  Evan Lansford;  one brother -  James (Denise) Schoen of Chester, IL;  one brother-in-law -  Alan (Terri) Mettler of New Douglas, IL;  & three nephews also survive.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 AM on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Lesicko Funeral Home in Livingston, IL.  Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Lesicko Funeral Home in Livingston, IL, with Pastor Nick Martin officiating;  Interment will follow in New Douglas City Cemetery in New Douglas, IL. 

Memorials are suggested to either the Bond County Humane Society or to New Douglas City Cemetery in New Douglas, IL.
