Thomas W. Hefer 64 of Paris, Ky (formerly of Staunton, IL) died Saturday November 16, 2019 at Bourbon Community Hospital after battling melanoma cancer.
Born May 29, 1955 in Staunton, he was the son of Melvin and Margaret (Binney) Hefer.
After graduating from Staunton High, Tom attended Quincy Tech School in Quincy, IL. He worked with his father in building businesses as a contractor, and was also the superintendent at Gateway International Raceway Park for over 20 plus years; he then retired early to live in Kentucky with his wife and children.
Survived by his wife Bonnie, mother, two sisters Pat (Bill) Gunn, Jill Denney, four children Brandon (Noa) Hefer, Lauren (James) McManus, Taylor (Lucas) Yaste, Jacob Haefer, 6 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 5-8 PM at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton. Funeral services Friday, November 22, 2019 at 10 AM at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton. Burial at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton.
