Thomas Joseph Bast

Thomas Joseph Bast, 36, of Staunton, Illinois, passed away at 10:18 AM on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at Community Hospital of Staunton.  He was born on July 22, 1984 in Maryville, Illinois, the son of Terry Bast of Staunton, & she survives.

Thomas was employed as a mechanic for many years.

In addition to his mother, Terry Bast of Staunton, he is survived by a son - Dexter Bell of Staunton;  a sister - Jessica Warren of Washington state;  an uncle - Jeff (Lori) Bast of Roodhouse, Illinois; & many friends.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date.  Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
