Thea May (Braundmeyer) Brunnworth

Thea May Brunnworth, 100 of Worden, IL passed away Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Heritage Health in Staunton. Born February 10, 1920 in Alhambra, IL, she was a daughter of the Late Mr. & Mrs. John & Katherine (Henschen) Braundmeyer. She married Arthur Brunnworth on October 14, 1939 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hamel, IL and he passed away on March 20, 1980. Thea was a homemaker and worked as a seamstress. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Worden, IL.

She is survived by 1 Daughter, Cynthia (Robert “Bopper”) Steinmeyer of Worden, Illinois, 1 Son, Edgar Brunnworth of Alhambra, Illinois, 4 Grandchildren, Shawn Hellinger, Stacy Dury, Wesley Wolbert, & Chantel Wolbert, 2 Great Grandchildren, Drake Dury & Brock Dury.

Besides her husband & parents, she was preceded in death by 1 Daughter, Joan Arth, 2 Grandchildren, Mark Hellinger & Jeffrey Brunnworth, 1 Brother, Walter Braundmeyer and 3 Sisters, Luella Boedicker, Esther Foulke, & Elda Schmidt.

There will be no visitation. Private funeral services will be held Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden with Pastor Heath Curtis officiating. The public is invited to attend the graveside service on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 11:30 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Hamel, IL.
