Terry Lynn Stoops

Terry Lynn Stoops, 60, of Staunton, IL, passed away at 3:40 PM on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Community Hospital of Staunton, IL.  She was born October 10, 1963 in Carlinville, IL, the daughter of Billy Joe Stoops & the late Mattie (Harris).  

Terry had been previously employed as a bartender.

She is survived by one daughter -  Mattie Pesavento of Staunton, IL;  one son -  Steven Pesavento of Staunton, IL;  two grandchildren -  Cassie & Carly Gray of Staunton, IL;  her father & stepmother -  Billy Joe & Joyce Stoops of Shipman, IL;  one brother -  Billy Stoops of Washington (state);  & two nieces -  Hannah & Marisa Stoops.  Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her first husband -  Richard Catlett;  &  three brothers -  Keith, Darrell, & Jeff Stoops.

Graveside services will be held at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, IL.
