Steven James Moss

Steven James Moss, 41, of Phoenix, Arizona, went to be with his Lord on Thursday, June 29, 2023.  Steven was born to Gerry & Glenda (Hefer) Moss of Phoenix, Arizona on February 23, 1982.

Steven was preceded in death by his grandfathers -  J.W. Moss & Archie Hefer;  & by his grandmother -  Mabel (Henrichs) Hefer.  He is survived by his parents -  Gerry & Glenda Moss of Phoenix, Arizona;  his grandmother -  Dorothy Jean Moss of Carrboro, North Carolina;  his aunts & uncles -  Barbara (Hefer) & Brian Kuckuck of Dewey, Arizona,  & Sherry (Moss) & Frank Turner of Durham, North Carolina;  & numerous cousins in North Carolina.

Steven was a member of Redeemer Reformed Baptist Church in Phoenix, Arizona & had a very active teaching ministry in sharing God's word with young adults throughout his life.  Steven's body will be laid to rest with other family members at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, Illinois.

Friends may call from 9:30 to 10 AM on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, Illinois.  Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, with Pastor Pete Smith officiating.
