Sharrie Louise (Templing) Meyer

Sharrie Louise Meyer, 82, passed away peacefully on May 13, 2026, at her home in Millersville Mo. She was born on April 13, 1944, to George and Elizabeth (Foos) Templing.

Sharrie was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar Meyer. She is survived in death by her daughters, Debra Buchanan and Patrice Miller and son-in-law Steve Buchanan; her grandchildren, Allicia Klosterman and spouse Zachary Klosterman, and David Buchanan and spouse Sydney Buchanan. She had six great-grandchildren, Melaney, Zander, Camille, Killian, Dean, and Landon.

Sharrie was a graduate of Russell, Kansas High School and after cosmetology school had a long career and owned her beauty shop in Mt. Olive, IL where she resided for many years and kept busy with friends and clients who became like family  She was  active in her church group and devoted time and love to all those who knew her as part of their family also. Sharrie lived her life surrounded and loved by family and her lifelong friends that meant the world to her. She was blessed in her faith and shared those blessings with all who came to know her. She was a beloved Weezy, Mom, Gramma, Gigi, Friend, and sister in Christ.

A private family graveside memorial will be held for Sharrie at Spangle Cemetery on Friday, May 22, 2026.
