Scott Russell Pickerill

Scott Russell Pickerill, 50, of Worden, Illinois, passed away at 9:02 PM on Thursday, December 3, 2020 at his residence in Worden, Illinois.  

He was born October 20, 1970 in Staunton, Illinois, the son of William Russell & Rosemarie (Schneider) Pickerill.  He was a member of the Worden Christian Church, Plumbers & Pipefitters Local #553 of Wood River, Illinois; Madison Masonic Lodge & the Elbon Shrine Club.

Scott is survived by a son – Wyatt Russell Pickerill of St. Louis, MO;  Parents – William Russell & Rosemarie Pickerill of Worden, IL;  a sister – Kelly Murphy (Ron Johnson) & nephews Brian (Dawn) Murphy, Brad (Kelly) Murphy, & Terry Murphy (Shelia & son Connor);  a brother – Timothy Lee (Darla) Pickerill & niece Katie (Ryan) Wear & children Landon & Hunter, Timothy (Sharon) Pickerill, & Trey Pickerill;  niece – Ashley Vesper & her children Darius & Rian, niece – Abby Vesper & her children Dannika & Joey.  He was preceded in death by 2 sisters – Kristin Lynn Vesper & Kimberly Ann Pickerill.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private family burial with a memorial service will be planned at a later date.  Memorials are suggested to either Worden Christian Church of Worden, IL or to the Elbon Shrine Club of Staunton, IL.
