Sandra Lynn (Thompson) Lane

Sandra Lynn Lane, 76, of Staunton, IL, passed away at 7:15 AM on Friday, March 22, 2024 at Staunton Health & Rehab Center in Staunton, IL.  She was born May 22, 1947 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Dougald & Florence (Labuhn) Thompson.  She married Charles H. "Chip" Lane on October 29, 1977 in Palos Park, IL & he passed away on October 27, 2019.

She was employed as a bookkeeper at First National Bank in Staunton, IL for many years.

Sandra is survived by three daughters -  Sara (John) Knowles of Staunton, IL,  Natalie Moore of Coffeen, IL,  &  Charlene Lane of Oak Lawn, IL;  eight grandchildren;  seven great grandchildren;  one sister -  Evelyn (Carl) Rendel of Texas;  & several nieces & nephews also survive.  Besides her husband & parents, she was preceded in death by one sister -  Susan Ziglar;  &  one brother -  Ronald Thompson.  

The family will greet friends from 1 to 3 PM on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL.
