Rosemary Tallman

Rosemary Tallman, 89, of Staunton, Illinois, passed away at 4:50 PM on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at Community Hospital of Staunton, Illinois.  She was born May 1, 1933, the daughter of the late Paul & Katie (Lisac) Halavonich.  She married William Karl Tallman on April 25, 1957 at the Bridal Cave in Missouri, & he passed away on January 23, 2012.

Rosemary was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Staunton, Illinois.  She was also a member of the Staunton VFW Ladies Auxiliary & a member of the Edwardsville Moose Lodge.

She is survived by 1 son -  Karl (Shelia) Tallman of Bunker Hill, IL;  2 grandsons -  Alex Tallman of Bunker Hill, IL & Austin Tallman of Edwardsville, IL;  numerous nieces & nephews also survive.  Besides her husband & parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter -  Carli Marie Tallman;  3 brothers -  Paul, Mike, & John Halavonich;  & 2 sisters -  Dorothy Gusewelle & Anne Knott.

Private Graveside Services will be held at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, Illinois, with Rev. Thomas Hagstrom officiating.  Memorials are suggested to the family in care of Williamson Funeral Home, 108 W. Henry St., Staunton, IL  62088.
