Roger Pollett

Roger Pollett, 74, of Livingston, IL, passed away on Friday, December 12, 2025 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Alton, IL.  He was born September 18, 1951 in Staunton, IL, the son of the late Roger A. & Catherine (Snell) Pollett.  He married Carole Fairless on November 25, 2002 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Livingston, IL & she survives.

Roger worked as a Security Guard for the Department of Social Security all over the state of Illinois.  He was also a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Livingston, the Olive Fire Department, & enjoyed hunting.

He is survived by his wife -  Carole Pollett of Livingston, IL;  one son -  Robert Michael Pollett of Champaign, IL;  one brother -  Robert Pollett of Livingston, IL;  several cousins;  & his two dogs -  "Crockett"  &  "Tubbs".

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 AM on Friday, December 19, 2025 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Livingston, IL.  A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 11 AM at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Livingston, IL, with Pastor Darwin Schrader officiating.  Burial will be at a later date at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, IL.  

Memorials are suggested to the Livingston Fire Department.
