Raymond L. Banovz, 68, of O’Fallon, Illinois passed away Friday, August 21, 2020 at his residence with family by his side. Born November 6, 1951 in Elmhurst, Illinois, he was a son of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Paul & Doris Rae (Fisher) Banovz. He worked as a Machinist at RDN in Bloomingdale, Illinois for many years. He enjoyed bowling, golfing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Ray enjoyed his yard-highly manicured like a golf course.
He is survived by 2 Daughters, Pamela (Roy) Marrs of O’Fallon, IL and Amanda Compell of Mendota, IL, 1 Son, Kevin Banovz Sr. of Mendota, IL, 5 Grandchildren, Emily, Kaitlyn, & Megan Marrs, Zachari Compell, & Kevin Banovz Jr., 2 Brothers, James (Lois) Banovz of Elburn, IL & Robert (Vickie) Banovz of Glendale Heights, IL, 1 Sister, Patricia Ricketts of Winfield, IL. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides his parents, he was precede in death by 1 Brother, Paul Banovz (& by Paul’s wife- Christine Banovz)
Chapel Services will be held Friday, August 28, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Assumption Cemetery in Wheaton, IL. Memorials are suggested to the family.
