Randy W. Klenke

Randy W. Klenke, 62, of rural Hamel, IL passed away Friday, March 19, 2021 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL. Born August 14, 1958 in Staunton, IL, he was a son Mrs. Martha (Wiehe) Klenke and the late Wilmer Klenke. He married Cheryl Albrecht on March 28, 1981 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden, IL and she survives. Randy was the Co-Owner & Co Manager of Hamel Seed & Farm Supply in the Hamel-Worden area for many years. He was also a self-employed farmer. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden, IL, where he was currently serving as Chairman of the congregation. In addition, he was a member of the Hamel Volunteer Fire Department, active for over 30 years.

He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Klenke

He was preceded in death by his Father - Wilmer Klenke, Brother - Ronald Klenke, and Father-In-Law -Victor Albrecht.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 PM on Thursday, March 25, 2021 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden, IL.  Funeral services will be held Friday, March 26, 2021 at 11 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden with Pastor Heath Curtis officiating. Burial will be held at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Worden, IL. Memorials are suggested to either Trinity Lutheran Church of Worden or to the Hamel Volunteer Fire Department.  

COVID-19 protocol will be observed during both the visitation period & during the

funeral service. The funeral service will be broadcast on 90.5 FM for those who wish to

remain in their cars during the service.  Your car must be in the parking lot of the 

Church during the service to receive the broadcast over the radio.
