Randy L. Bird

Randy L. Bird, 68 of Worden, IL passed away Thursday, November 19, 2020 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Alton, IL. Born June 11, 1952 in Litchfield, IL, he was a son of the Late Wilbur “Bud” Bird and the Late Alberta “Bertie” (Johnson) Schnur. He worked as a laborer at Olin Corporation in east Alton, IL. After retiring from Olin Corp, he worked at Landers Funeral Home in Bunker Hill, IL.

He is survived by a son, Andrew Bird of Texas, 2 grandsons, Dylan Snow of Tertlon, OK and Phillip Billingsley of Cabot, AR, 1 sister, Sue Struebig of Staunton, IL, 2 step-sisters, Sandra (Dave) Cool of Staunton, IL and Theresa (Mike) Lovejoy of Albuquerque, NM. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Angela Bird, 1 son, Shawn Bird, stepfather, George Schnur, 1 sister, Kay Kilduff.

No services are scheduled. Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor’s choice.
