Peggy Anne (Howard) Partridge

Peggy Anne Partridge, 85, of Staunton, Illinois, passed away peacefully at her home in Staunton, IL on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.  She was born July 28, 1938 in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of the late Fred & Madeline (Anderson) Howard.  She married Fred Partridge Sr. on May 2, 1959 in Bethalto, IL & he survives.

Peggy's greatest love was her family, they always came first.  She enjoyed camping & watching TV, & was a past member of Bethel Southern Baptist Church of Staunton, IL.  Peggy & Fred were married for sixty-four years, & also raised their granddaughter Heather, great granddaughter Sierra, who they legally adopted, & helped raise their great great granddaughter Alison.

She is survived by her husband -  Fred Partridge Sr.;  one son -  Fred Partridge Jr.;  two daughters -  Cindy (Rick) Tomlinson &  Sierra Partridge;  grandchildren -  Heather Spudich,  Nicole Partridge,  Corina Partridge,  Fred Partridge III, &  Justin (Sarah) Tomlinson;  great grandchildren -  Lorelei,  Avielle,  Amelia,  Delilah,  Mackenzie,  Kaeden,  Avery,  William,  Taylor,  Billy,  David, &  Maleaha;  two great great granddaughters -  Alison & Adalyn;  four brothers -  Frank Howard,  Jerry Howard,  David (Barb) Howard, &  Terry Howard;  one sister -  Lily Custer;  & numerous nieces & nephews.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother -  Bill Howard;  sisters-in-law -  Judy,  Sharon, &  Martha;  brother-in-law -  Don;  & her great great granddaughter -  Brooklyn Tomlinson.

Friends may call from 10 AM to 12 noon on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL.  Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday, October 16, 2023 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, with Jennifer Smith officiating.  Burial will be in Tine Sawyer Cemetery - west of Staunton, IL.  Memorials are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
