Patricia A. (Blotevogel) Highlander

Patricia A. Highlander, 87, of Staunton, IL, passed away at 2:46 PM on Monday, April 28, 2025 at her residence in Staunton, IL.  She was born September 28, 1937 in Worden, IL, the daughter of the late Walter A. & Cleo (Buehnemann) Blotevogel.  She married Kenneth O. Highlander on October 6, 1962 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden, IL & he passed away on October 12, 2000.

Pat was employed as a secretary for Zion Lutheran Church & School in Staunton, IL for 25 years, from 1974 to 1999, & was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Staunton.  She loved arts & crafts, & especially spending time with her grandchildren & great grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons -  Kenny (Kathy) Highlander of Lafayette, LA,  &  Brian (Angie) Highlander Sr. of Staunton, IL;  three grandchildren -  Casey (Joey) Bridges of Staunton, IL,  Brian (Brittnie) Highlander Jr. of Staunton, IL,  &  Kayla Highlander of Lafayette, LA;  four great grandchildren -  Bentlie,  Connor,  Brian III,  &  Blakelen;  one brother -  Walter D. (Nancy) Blotevogel of Worden, IL;  & multiple nieces & nephews also survive.

Visitation from 4:30 to 7 PM on Monday, May 5, 2025 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL, & again from 10 to 11 AM on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church in Staunton, IL.  Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, May 6, 2025 at Zion Lutheran Church in Staunton, IL, with Pastor Phil Girardin officiating.  Private burial will be held at a later date in Worden Lutheran Cemetery in Worden, IL. 

Memorials are suggested to either Zion Lutheran Church or School in Staunton, or to the charity of the donor's choice.
