Nona Adams Obituary

Nona Lue Adams, 83, of Staunton, Illinois, passed away at 8:18 AM on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Heritage Health in Staunton, Illinois. She was born March 29, 1940 in Shaw, Mississippi. She married Billy Adams & he passed away in November of 2004.

She is survived by three daughters - JoAnne Adams of Louisiana, Dorothy (John) Nunes of Granite City, IL, & Carolyn Adams of Arkansas; one son - Pete Adams of Nashville, TN; four grandchildren - George, Valerie, Jonathan, & Matthew; & many great grandchildren. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters - Linda Adams & Brenda Adams; three brothers & one sister.

Friends may call from 10 to 11:30 AM on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, Illinois. Memorials are suggested to the family.
