Nancy Lou (Ollerton) Blotevogel

Nancy Lou Blotevogel, 80, of Worden, IL passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at
5:20 PM at her residence in Worden. Born October 3, 1945 in Highland, IL, she was a daughter
of the late Mr. & Mrs. Thomas “ Midge” & Annabelle (Maedge) Ollerton. She married Walter D.
Blotevogel on May 28, 1966 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden, IL and he survives. She
graduated from Livingston High School with the Class of 1964. She worked as a Real Estate
Agent for Metcalf Century 21 in Edwardsville, IL for 20 years. Nancy enjoyed spending time with
her family and grandchildren. She took pleasure gardening and taking care of her flowers and
plants around the house. She also enjoyed country western movies and music.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Walter Blotevogel of Worden, IL, 2 children, Tom
Blotevogel of Alhambra, IL and Kelly (Ron) Albrecht of Worden, IL, 4 grandchildren, Tommy
(Sara) Blotevogel, Sarah Blotevogel, Olivia (Daniel) Pratte, and Kathryn Albrecht, 2 great
grandchildren, Liam and Jesse Blotevogel, 1 sister, Barbara Highlander of Edwardsville, IL, 1
uncle, Walter Maedge of Edwardsville, IL. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also
survive. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Gerald Ollerton and
Richard Ollerton.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 10 AM - 1 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church
in Worden, IL. Memorial services will follow at 1 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden with
Pastor Dustin Krystowiak officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date. Memorials are
suggested to Trinity Lutheran Church of Worden, IL.
