Mildred P. (Owens) Behme

Mildred P. Behme (91) died at home surrounded by family Sunday, May 30, 2021. Born April 20, 1930, in Hickory Ridge, Arkansas. She is the daughter of the late Millard J. Owens and Virginia (Hamilton) Owens. On February 24, 1950, she married the late Lloyd Behme at Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden, Illinois. Mildred is survived by two sons, Bruce (Debra) Behme of Columbia, South Carolina and Brian Behme of Worden, Illinois; and daughter Beth (Behme) Adkison of O’Fallon, Missouri; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mark Lloyd infant; brothers Eugene Owens, Leamon Owens, and Otis Elvins Owens; a sister, Mary Evelyn Moore; and daughter-in-law, Pamela Behme. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden, Illinois, and American Legion Auxiliary Post 564.

Graveside service to be held at a later date.
