Mary B. Rosenthal

Mary B. Rosenthal, 66, of New Douglas, IL, passed away at 5:30 PM on Friday, August 30, 2024 at her daughter's residence in New Douglas, IL.  She was born February 18, 1958 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late August O. & Mary Frances (Alyward) Rosenthal.

Mary was employed as a Group Leader at Basler Electric in Highland, IL for many years & was a member of the United House of Prayer in New Douglas, IL.

She is survived by two daughters -  Susan (Chris) Garcia of New Douglas, IL,  &  Amy Elkins of New Douglas, IL;  ten grandchildren -  Maria,  Anna,  Samantha,  Jack,  Sarah,  Sophia,  Isaiah,  Grace,  Christian,  &  Joseph;  two sisters -  Virginia Renaud of Michigan,  &  Margaret Rosenthal of Idaho;  two brothers -  Richard Rosenthal of Chicago, IL,  &  August Rosenthal of Wilmington, IL;  several nieces & nephews also survive.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers -  John & Bob Rosenthal;  &  one sister -  Letitia Boiani.

There will be no visitation.  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at 11 AM at the United House of Prayer in New Douglas, IL, with Pastor Larry Kershner officiating.  Private interment will be held at a later date in New Douglas City Cemetery in New Douglas, IL.  

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
