Marsha Ann Tucker, 75, of Staunton, IL, passed away peacefully at 9:39 AM on Friday, January 23, 2026 at SSM Saint Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
She was born on October 14, 1950 in Alton, IL, the daughter of the late Thomas J. & Alma (Rolston) Williamson. She married Orville Triplett in October of 1969 in Staunton, IL, & they later divorced. Marsha married Edward "Eddy" Tucker on November 18, 1996 in Carlinville, IL, & he survives.
Marsha worked various jobs throughout her life; as a Medical Stenographer at Community Memorial Hospital in Staunton, IL in the early 1970's, & most notably, cleaning & assisting at Williamson Funeral Home in her later years, before poor health prohibited. Marsha loved watching her "shows" on television. Some of her favorite programs were Sanford & Son, Highway to Heaven, Roseanne, The Andy Griffith Show, & most of all, Little House on the Prairie. Michael Landon was her favorite actor. She liked going to St. Michael's Octoberfest every year. Marsha enjoyed holidays & especially decorating for Christmas. One of her favorite activities was to get in the car & drive around town, listening to her beloved '50's & '60's music on the radio. Marsha was kind & friendly to everyone she met. She loved her family & was always looking forward to when her children or grandchildren would visit.
In addition to her husband, Eddy, Marsha is survived by a daughter - Jodi (Aric) Lebro of Williamson, IL; two sons - Christopher Triplett of Mendon, IL, & Alex Adler of Staunton, IL; seven grandchildren - Kayla, Aric Jr., Thomas, Sandra, Lara, Madison, & Ferrel; five great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews; a sister-in-law - Dorcas Williamson of Staunton, IL; & a brother-in-law - Carl Sawyers of Staunton, IL. Besides her parents, Marsha was preceded in death by her brother - James T. "Red" Williamson; & a sister - Sandra Mae Williamson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL. Graveside services honoring Marsha's life will be conducted at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, IL, following the visitation. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
