Marilyn A. Hensley, 87, of Worden, IL, passed away at 6:35 PM on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at The Glenwood in Staunton, IL. She was born May 18, 1938 in Monroe County, IL, the daughter of the late Charles & Frances (Marquardt) Wisnasky. She married Charles Wieseman on November 16, 1957 & he passed away on April 25, 1978. She then married Darvin Hensley on October 24, 1987 & he passed away on June 1, 2022.
Marilyn was a homemaker & also sold Mary Kay Cosmetics. She was a graduate of Staunton High School, & was the Coordinator/Inspiration for renovating the Butler School. She was also a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Staunton, St. Michael Women's Council, & the Prairie Club of Home Extension.
She is survived by four children - Kenneth (Tracey) Wieseman, Donna (Eugene) Hampton, David Wieseman, & Mary (Kerry) Butcher; a stepson - Scott (Amy) Hensley; 14 grandchildren; & 18 great grandchildren. Besides her husbands & parents, she was preceded in death by a stepdaughter - Sheri Hensley.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 AM on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Staunton, IL. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Staunton, IL, with Father Thomas Hagstrom officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery near Bunker Hill, IL.
Memorials are suggested to either St. Michael Catholic Church of Staunton or to the Prairietown Volunteer Fire Department.
