Marian E. (Zinn) Slazinik

Marian E. Slazinik, 91, of Staunton, Illinois, passed away at 12:11 AM on Sunday, December 11, 2022 at her residence in Staunton, Illinois.  She was born March 25, 1931 in St. Louis, Missouri, the daughter of the late Werner G. & Mary (Albertini) Zinn.  She married Norman G. Slazinik on September 5, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri & he passed away on February 6, 2007.

Marian was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church of Staunton & a member of Staunton Country Club for many years.

She is survived by 2 sons -  Norman J. (Monica) Slazinik of Caseyville, IL, & David M. (Carol) Slazinik of Staunton, IL;  6 grandchildren -  Max (Stacey) Slazinik of Springfield, IL,  Kyle Slazinik of Staunton, IL,  Kelly Slazinik of Lake St. Louis, MO,  Steve (Carol) Slazinik of Troy, IL,  Jeff (Nicole) Slazinik of Maryville, IL,  & Andrea (Brandon) Yates of Edwardsville, IL;  9 great grandchildren -  John, Lauren, Matthew, James, Gregory, William, Mia, Donovan, & Rhys;  several nieces & nephews also survive.

Private Memorial Services will be held at a later date at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, with Rev. Thomas Hagstrom officiating.  Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, Illinois.  Memorials are suggested to either St. Michael Catholic Church of Staunton or to the Staunton Area Ambulance Service.
