Loretta A. (Jarden) Sminchak

Loretta A. Sminchak, 75 of Staunton, IL went to be with her husband on Friday, December 25, 2020. She was born May 20, 1945 in Staunton, IL to the Late Mr. & Mrs. Lewis Jarden. She married Stephen T. Sminchak on November 27, 1962 at St. Michael’s Parish in Staunton and he passed away on August 23, 2015. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church of Staunton.

She is survived by 1 Daughter - Mary Jo (Mark) Masias of Colorado Springs, Colorado, 1 Son - Stephen Sminchak (Julie DeVries) of Staunton, Illinois, 1 Granddaughter - Sarahann Sminchak of Staunton, Illinois, 1 Sister - Carol Jarden of Litchfield, Illinois, 1 Brother - Charles Jarden of Nashville, Illinois. Numerous Nieces & Nephews also survive.

Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.

Private Graveside services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton at a later date. Memorials are suggested to Community Memorial Hospital of Staunton.
