Linda Ann Best

Linda Ann Best, 70, of Staunton, IL, passed away at 4:09 PM on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Heritage Health & Rehab Center in Gillespie, IL.  She was born June 17, 1954 in Staunton, IL, the daughter of the late Gilbert G. & Anna Mae (Karl) Best Sr.

Linda was employed by Illinois Valley Rehab Center in Gillespie, IL & was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church of Staunton, IL.  She loved stamp collecting, Country Music, writing to pen-pals, & going to the library.

She is survived by one brother -  Gilbert G. (Cheryl) Best Jr. of Staunton, IL;  one sister -  Mary G. (Tom) Kroeger of Staunton, IL;  her aunt -  Marietta Schnaare of Staunton, IL;  several nieces, nephews, & cousins also survive.

Visitation from 10 to 11 AM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL.  Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL.  Private burial will be held at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, IL.

Memorials are suggested to either St. Michael Catholic Church Nativity Scene or to the Activity Fund at Heritage Health & Rehab Center in Gillespie, IL - in care of Kim Schardan.
