Leslie Allen "Les" Garwood

Leslie Allen “Les” Garwood, 79 of Worden, IL passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 at his residence in Worden, IL. Born January 10, 1941 in Panama, IL, he was a son of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Orville & Loraine (Pate) Garwood. He married Penny Robbs and they later divorced. He then married Dorothy Pirok in May of 1988 in Edwardsville, IL and she passed away on August 16, 2010. Les worked as a Truck Driver for Cassens Transport in Edwardsville, IL for many years. He served in the U.S. Army from 1963 to 1965. He was a member of Teamsters Local # 600, the Worden American Legion Post #564 and the Sorento Masonic Lodge #861 AF & AM.

He is survived by 1 Son, Allen Garwood, 1 Daughter, Vicki Rodriguez, 4 Grandchildren, Randy Henrion, Corey Leichsenring, William Rodriguez, and Katelyn Rodriguez, 4 Great Grandchildren, Carson Henrion, Syrus Dewitt-Rodriguez, Nevaeh Rodriguez-Simmons, and Nigel Rodriguez-Simmons, 1 Sister, Bernice Tucker. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Daughter, Pamula “Pam” Voss and 1 Brother, Thomas Garwood

A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the family.
