Laura "Lolly" (Muenstermann) Krivi

Laura "Lolly" Krivi, 86, of Staunton, IL, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025 at Hitz Memorial Home in Alhambra, IL.  She was born September 13, 1938 in Staunton, IL, the daughter of the late Valentine Anthony & Anna Pearl (Duffy) Muenstermann.  She married John J. Krivi Sr. on November 19, 1955 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Staunton, IL & he preceded her in death.

Lolly attended Staunton schools.  She retired after working many years from Olin Winchester in East Alton, IL.

When not working, Lolly spent time crocheting, cooking, & baking.  She alto enjoyed coaching girls' softball, spending time with family, outdoors, fishing, & gardening.  Her grandkids & great grandkids meant the world to her.  She was avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, & would watch every game! (if it was televised in our area).

She is survived by daughter Patty Edgecombe of Illiopolis, IL;  son Butch (Marlene) Krivi Jr. of Staunton, IL;  daughter Valerie Thackrey (fiance' Chuck Newingham) of Ozark, IL;  son Tom (Teresa) Krivi of Mt. Olive, IL;  &  daughter Linda (Krivi) Ozment of Snohomish, WA;  12 grandchildren;  16 great grandchildren;  & her beloved dog "Foxie".

Besides her husband & parents, she was preceded in death by one brother -  Patrick Muenstermann;  one sister -  Polly Christiansen;  a brother-in-law -  Ernie Krivi;  her father-in-law ^ mother-in-law -  John & Mary Ann Krivi;  her daughter-in-law -  Jamie Krivi;  her great granddaughter -  Natalea Ondes;  & her son-in-law -  Daniel Ozment Sr.

Friends may call from 9 to 11 AM on Monday, March 24, 2025 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL.  Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, March 24, 2025 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL, with Rev. Thomas Hagstrom officiating.  Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, IL.  

Memorials are suggested to either Fieldon Fire Department in Fieldon, IL or to Shell Knob Fire Department in Missouri.
