Larry E. Mriscin, 74 of Alhambra, IL passed away Thursday, January 8, 2026, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. Born August 23, 1951, in Staunton, IL, he was a son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Tony & Eileen (Brave) Mriscin. He graduated from Livingston High School Class of 1970. Larry was a self-employed farmer and was an avid outdoorsman, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Larry is survived by his significant other, Suzanne Bangert of Alhambra, IL, 3 children, Jennifer (Kevin) Greathouse of Granite City, IL, Michael J. Mriscin of Alhambra, IL, Stacey Mriscin (Lance) of Sorento, IL, 13 grandchildren, multiple great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Sandy (Randy) Snyder of Livingston, IL, and Jean (Dave) Wirz of Highland, IL. Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Mriscin, 2 brothers, Robert Mriscin and James Mriscin, 1 sister, Patricia Ross.
Visitation hours will be held Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 4 – 7 PM at the Lesicko Funeral Home in Livingston, IL. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 10 AM at the Lesicko Funeral Home in Livingston, IL. Burial will be held at Salem Cemetery in Alhambra, IL. Memorials are suggested to Susan G. Komen for the Cure Foundation.
