Lanida D. (Jacobs) Frizzo

Lanida D. Frizzo, 83 of Godfrey, IL, formerly of Staunton, IL passed away Thursday, January 27, 2022, at River Crossing in Alton, IL. Born June 18, 1938, in Litchfield, IL, she was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Lewis W. “Sally” and Belva D. (Coalson) Jacobs. She married Eugene L. Frizzo on June 16, 1962, at 1St United Methodist Church in Staunton, IL and he survives. She worked as a Kindergarten Teacher at Niedringhaus School in Granite City, IL for over 30 years. She was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church in Alton, IL and the “Friends of Lovejoy” group to benefit the library at SIU- Edwardsville.

She is survived by Husband -       Eugene L. Frizzo – Godfrey, Illinois

                                1 Daughter -       Lainee D. Frizzo – Kirkwood, Missouri

                                1 Grandson -      Keegan Forrest – Kirkwood, Missouri

                                1 Sister-In-Law - JoAnn (Frizzo) Gibbs – Staunton, Illinois

                                2 Nephews also survive.

Services will be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimer’s Association.
