Kenneth B. Terry

Kenneth B. Terry, 68, of Staunton, IL, passed away peacefully at his residence in Staunton on Thursday, August 14, 2025.  He was born December 17, 1956 in East St. Louis, IL, the son of the late Elwood & Mary Helen (Berry) Terry.  

Kenneth served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a helicopter mechanic, & was employed as a custodial engineer at Capri Grocery in Litchfield, IL for many years.  He liked NASCAR racing & Cardinals baseball, Pink Floyd & James Taylor, okra & frog legs, & telling a good joke.

He is survived by his partner -  Lois Drury of Staunton, IL;  his daughter -  Alice Terry of Collinsville, IL;  one brother -  Phillip Featherstone of Springfield, MO;  & one sister -  Mary Newmann of Louisville, KY.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister -  June Ballard of Edwardsville, IL;  & a brother -  Stephen Terry of Wilsonville, IL.
