Kathryn K. Kirkwood, 66 of Staunton, IL passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Heritage Health in Staunton, IL. Born August 8, 1955, in Litchfield, IL, she was a daughter of the Late Mr. Charles David & Dorothy (Fensterman) Kirkwood. She worked as a Lab Technician at Echlin Brake Parts in Litchfield, IL for over 30 years. She loved animals, bird watching, and puzzles. She was very generous with her family.

She is survived by 1 sister, Annie Kirkwood of Staunton, IL, 1 brother, Charles David (Kathy) Kirkwood Jr. of Staunton, IL, companion, Rodney Bruhn of Sorento, IL. Numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 1 brother, Richard Kirkwood and by many aunts and uncles.

Private Graveside Services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, IL. A “Celebration of Life” will be held for Kathryn and her parents, Charles & Dorothy, at the Water Tower Park in Staunton on Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 12 noon to 2 PM. The “Celebration of Life” is open to the public.
