Karen Sue (Koller) Meyer

Karen Sue (Koller) Meyer, 71 of Prairietown, IL passed away Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at her residence in Prairietown. Born April 20, 1949 in Alton, IL, she was a daughter of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Donald & Patricia (Smitherman) Koller. She married Vernon Meyer on November 28, 1970 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ in Carlinville, IL and he survives. She was a homemaker and a Dairy Farmer’s Wife. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church of Prairietown, IL and a member of Home Extension. Karen enjoyed going out for fish on Friday nights and listening to live music with friends. She also enjoyed sewing and crafting.

She is survived by her Husband -Vernon Meyer of Prairietown, Illinois, 2 Daughters - Deanna Robertson of Prairietown, Illinois and Christy (Gerald) Jones of Carlinville, Illinois, 2 Grandchildren - A.J. Robertson of Prairietown, Illinois and Martin Jones of Carlinville, Illinois, 1 Brother -     Todd (Becky) Koller of Carlinville, Illinois, 1 Sister -Gwynn (Rick) Howard of Springfield, Illinois. Numerous Nieces & Nephews also survive.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Granddaughters - Presley & Christine, 1 Brother -Duane Koller, and 1 Nephew - David Koller.

Friend may call from 10 AM to 12 noon on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Prairietown. Funeral services will follow at 12 noon at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Brandon Larson officiating. There will be no graveside services as remains will be cremated following services. Memorials are suggested to St. Peter’s Lutheran School of Prairietown.
