Justin W. Crites

Justin Crites, age 64, was born on October 14, 1961 in East St. Louis, IL, & passed away on October 15, 2025 in Staunton, IL.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Crites & Betty (Lee) Daniel;  his brother Brandon Daniel;  father-in-law James Gaither; & his brother-in-law John Gaither.

Justin is survived by his wife of 28 years Anne K. Crites - married June 27, 1997 in Edwardsville, IL;  his children -  Elizabeth (Josh) Saunders of Alton, IL,  Nicole (Larry) Senaldi of Staunton, IL,  &  Megan (Nathan) Buchanan of Brighton, IL;  his grandchildren -  Kory,  Taylor,  Ethan,  Jordan,  &  Kennedy;  a brother -  Charles (Janice) Crites of Gillespie, IL;  mother-in-law -  Carol Gaither of Staunton, IL;  brother-in-law -  Timothy Gaither of Staunton, IL;  along with several nieces, nephews, & cousins.

He was employed at Raulston Tools for 24 years & then as a Lab Technician at World Wide Technologies in Edwardsville, IL for 13 years prior to his recent retirement.  He will be remembered for his love of camping, fishing, Harley riding, listening to Willie Nelson, & spending time with his family.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 9th, 2025 from 12pm - 4pm at the Lazy Dayz Campground (22756 White Park Lane, Litchfield, IL 62056) Banquet Hall.  

Memorials are being requested as donations to the Helping Hands Center in Staunton, IL.
