Julie Marie (Scanzoni) Clemons

Julie Marie Clemons, 55, of Staunton, IL, passed away on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  She was born September 21, 1970 in Staunton, IL, the daughter of the late Jacob & Janice (Osterbuhr) Scanzoni.  She married John Clemons on July 30, 1999 in Edwardsville, IL & he survives.

Julie graduated from Livingston High School with the Class of 1988, & was employed with various Real Estate & Title companies throughout the area.  She later obtained a degree in Computer Aided Drafting thru ITT in St. Charles, MO.  She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of New Douglas, IL & enjoyed the beach, fishing, & spending time with family & friends.

She is survived by her husband -  Johnny Clemons of Staunton, IL;  four children -  Thomas (Jelesa) Clemons of Coffeen, IL,  Kali (Chase) Anderson, currently serving in the U.S. Air Force in Guam,  Victoria Clemons of Staunton, IL,  &  Jaden Clemons of Staunton, IL;  three grandchildren -  Levi Eckhardt,  Rhonda Clemons,  &  Lila Ray Anderson;  one brother -  Jeffrey (Lisa) Scanzoni of Livingston, IL;  & numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins also survive.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter -  Iyana Clemons;  her in-laws -  John & Irene Clemons;  & two sisters-in-law -  "Cricket" Clemons  &  Teri Mostajo.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date.
