Judith Ann (Gusewelle) Stille

Judith Ann Stille, 86, of Staunton, IL, passed away at her residence on Friday, May 22, 2026. Born May 13, 1940, in Worden, IL, she was a daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Lester & Anna (Behme) Gusewelle. She married Merle Stille on February 9, 1957, at the Hillsboro Courthouse in Hillsboro, IL. She worked as a cook at the Rapp Inn in Worden, IL for many years. Later, she would own and operate New Weigh Toning Tables in Worden, IL.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Worden, IL. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball fan. She enjoyed cooking, baking, baby-sitting for family, cleaning houses, and helping take care of elder folks.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Debra (Michael) Wiemers of Hamel, IL, Denise Gallagher of Litchfield, IL, and Donna (Todd) Anschutz of Staunton, IL; 6 grandchildren, Michelle Jones, Stephanie (Tony) Perry, Christina (Rob) Coleman, Brian Wiemers (Shannon Jeurissen), Kimberley (Bryan) Roller, Taylor (Maggie) Anschutz; 7 great grandchildren, Coby, Tyler, Braden, Avery, Rhett, Knox, and Jack; 1 brother, Gary (Darlene) Gusewelle of Staunton, IL. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Beside her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Ray (Rhada) Stille and 2 nephews, Tom Gusewelle and Brad Gusewelle.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, 2026, from 9 - 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden, IL. Funeral Services will follow at 10:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church in Worden with Rev. Dustin Krystowiak officiating. Burial will be held at Worden Lutheran Cemetery in Worden, IL.
