Joshua A. Thorn

Joshua A. Thorn, 40 of Staunton, IL passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. Born April 21, 1980 in Staunton, IL, he was a son of Ms. Renee Davis. Joshua worked as a Crossing Guard for Staunton Schools/City of Staunton. He also worked as a city employee at the Yard Waste Site and was a past employee at Staunton Public Library. He was a member of Net Community Church of Staunton, Staunton Lions Club, and was a volunteer at Staunton Helping Hands/Food Pantry.

He is survived by his mother, Renee Davis of Staunton, IL and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Private family services will be held at Net Community Church in Staunton, IL with Rev. Derrick Taylor officiating. Memorials are suggested to the family.
