Jennifer Lee Lawler

Jennifer Lee Lawler, 47, of Staunton, IL, passed away at 7:20 AM on Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  She was born April 8, 1979 in Clarksville, TN, the daughter of Stella Lawler.

Jennifer was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with family, loved children, & enjoyed Calligraphy.

She is survived by her companion -  Mark Schmidt of Staunton, IL;  five children -  Michael Schmidt of Litchfield, IL,  James O'Neill Schwertmann III of Staunton, IL,  Hailey Schwertmann of Staunton, IL,  Jade Schmidt of Sawyerville, IL,  &  Mark Lawler-Schmidt of Staunton, IL;  her mother -  Stella Lawler;  & is also survived by the Schmidt,  Mills,  &  Barber families.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 AM on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL.  No funeral services are scheduled.  Burial will follow the visitation at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, IL.
