Jeffrey Arthur Clark

Jeffrey Arthur Clark, 63, of Staunton, IL, passed away at 12:37 AM on Thursday, January 1, 2026 at Hillsboro Rehab & Health Care Center in Hillsboro, IL.  He was born July 19, 1962 in Gibson City, IL, the son of the late Arthur L. & Lois (Eldon) Clark.

Jeff graduated from Staunton High School with the Class of 1980.  He worked for many years as Head Baker at Jubelt's Bakery in Mt. Olive, IL, until suffering a stroke in 2000.  He was a member of Gillespie Methodist Church & the Staunton Volunteer Fire Department, an avid sports fan, & loved the Green Bay Packers.

He is survived by two sons -  Brendan Clark of Staunton, IL,  &  Bradley (Hayley) Clark of Oconomowoc, WI;  two grandsons -  A. J. Clark  &  Maverick Clark;  three siblings -  Nancy Campbell,  John (Nancy) Clark,  &  bob Clark;  three nephews -  Ben (Keli) Clark,  Darrin (Abby) Clark,  Jason (Kim) Campbell;  one niece -  Devon (Mimi) Campbell;  & several great nieces & great nephews also survive.  Jeff also had many friends who he considered family.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL.  Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, IL, with Pastor Nancy Hubert officiating.  Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, IL.  .

Memorials are suggested to either the Staunton Volunteer Fire Department or to the Staunton Athletic Booster Club.
