Jeanette I. (Kantor) Cyrnek

Jeanette I. Cyrnek, 84, of Livingston, IL, passed away at 10:30 AM on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis, MO.  She was born June 29, 1941 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late Steven & Elizabeth (Gall) Kantor.  She married Chester M. Cyrnek in 1977 & he passed away in March 2000.

Jeanette was employed as a Director at Edwardsville Senior Center in Edwardsville, IL for over 20 years, retiring in 2007.

She is survived by two daughters -  Rebecca Cyrnek (life partner William Moore Jr.) of Alhambra, IL,  &  Arlene Cyrnek of Sun City, AZ;  one son -  Rick Cyrnek of Trail Creek, IN;  four grandchildren;  one sister -  Linda Wersinger of Livingston, IL;  one brother -  Michael (Jane) Kantor of Algonquin, IL;  & several nieces & nephews also survive.

A "Celebration of Life" will be held at a later date.  Memorials are suggested to Adopt-A-Pet of Benld, IL.
