James W. "JB" Beisner Jr.

James W. Beisner Jr. "JB", 65, of Staunton, IL, passed away at 12:38 PM on Sunday, July 20, 2025 at his residence near Staunton, IL.  He was born January 22, 1960 in East St. Louis, IL, the son of Helen (Riddle) Beisner & the late James W. Beisner Sr.  He married Charlotte Showalter in 1979 in Rawlins, WY & she survives.

He was employed as an electrician at US Steel in Granite City, IL for many years, & was a devoted husband to Charlotte for 46 years & a loving father to his son, James Beisner III.  He was a skilled mechanic, whether it be bikes, cars, or heavy equipment, & was a Harley enthusiast.  His favorite things to do were to tell stories, joke around, & ride.  He was & always will be the family entertainer.  To know JB was to know laughter.

He is survived by his wife -  Charlotte Beisner;  his son -  James "Jim" (Kristy) Beisner III;  his mother -  Helen Beisner;  two brothers -  Steve (Tamla) Beisner  &  Bruce (Dana) Beisner;  one sister -  Debra (Duane) Stolns;  & numerous nieces & nephews also survive.  He was preceded in death by his father -  James W. Beisner Sr.
