Irene C. (Mishanec) Neuhaus

Irene C. Neuhaus, 91 of Staunton, Illinois died Sunday, May 17, 2020 at her residence in Staunton. Born September 20, 1928 in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Joseph & Catherine (Rumisek) Mishanec. She married Carl “Bud” Neuhaus on May 31, 1948 and he died November 8, 2010. Irene worked as a Bank Teller at First National Bank in Staunton. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Staunton. Irene enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by 2 sons, Mark “Sam” (Paula) Neuhaus of Staunton, IL and Brad Neuhaus of Scottsdale, AZ, 4 grandchildren, Chad (Bridget) Neuhaus of Edwardsville, IL, Abby (Dan) McDole of Staunton, IL, Matt (Sarah) Neuhaus of AZ, and Bradlee Neuhaus of AZ, 6 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Joe (Joy) Mishanec of Staunton, IL. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Private Graveside services will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date.
