Hilda Clara (Sievers) Hunecke

Hilda Clara Hunecke, 87 of Staunton, IL passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Heritage Health in Staunton, IL. Born February 20, 1933 in Olive Township, Madison County, IL she was a daughter of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Henry & Della (Ahrens) Sievers. She married Erhardt W. Hunecke on November 27, 1971 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Livingston, IL and he passed away on March 21, 2012. Hilda was a homemaker and a childcare giver for many years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Staunton, Zion Ladies Aid, CO Chair of the Zion Sausage Supper for many years.

She is survived by 1 Daughter, Karen (Brian) Dustman of Staunton, IL, 2 Grandchildren, Hannah & Andrew Dustman. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Herbert.

Friends may call from 10 to 11 AM on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Zion Lutheran Church in Staunton. Funeral services will follow at 11 AM at Zion Lutheran Church with Rev. Kelly Mitteis officiating. Burial will be held at Spangle Cemetery near Livingston, IL. Memorials are suggested to either Zion Lutheran Church of Staunton or to Spangle Cemetery.
