Gary Otto Neeley

Gary Otto Neeley, 67, of Staunton, Illinois, passed away at 11:53 AM on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at his residence in Staunton, Illinois.  He was born November 28, 1955 in Shelby, Michigan, the son of the late Samuel Wilson Neeley Jr. & Caledia (Ward) Neeley.  

He was employed as a Custodian at McHenry High School in McHenry, Illinois for many years, & was an avid fisherman.

Gary is survived by two sisters -  Barbara Sakulenzki of Quincy, IL,  & Brenda (Don) Best of Worden, IL;  several nieces & nephews also survive.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister -  Linda Cortesi;  & a niece -  Cassandra Castens.

No services are scheduled.  Private interment of cremains at a later date in Honey Bend Cemetery near Litchfield, Illinois.
