Frank E. Sabo

Frank E. Sabo, 94, of O'Fallon, Missouri, passed away at 1:15 PM on Friday, July 17, 2020 at Progress West Hospital in O'Fallon, Missouri.  He was born December 7, 1925 in Gary, Indiana, the son of the late Frank & Helen (Crum) Sabo.  He married Doris M. Brikner on December 30, 1964 in Staunton, Illinois & she survives.  

Frank was employed as an accountant with Pohlman Manufacturing in Chesterfield, Missouri for many years & also for McBride Chevrolet in Staunton, Illinois.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in World War II, & later served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War era.  He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wentzville, Missouri, an American Legion member, & a past Boy Scout Leader.

Besides his wife, he is survived by 8 children - Susan Melm of Staunton, IL; Debbie Yim of O'Fallon, MO; John (Michele) Drevenak of Chesterfield, MO; Constance (John) Gray of O'Fallon, MO; Cindy Sabo of Springfield, IL; Kathy Kruse of Imperial, MO; Danny Sabo of Palmyra, IL; & Julie (Mark) Richison of Mt. Carmel, IL.  Also surviving are 16 grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation.  Private funeral services will be held on Friday, July 24, 2020 at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, Illinois.  Memorials are suggested to Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wentzville, Missouri.
