Floyd M. “Bud” Rowbotham, 92 of Staunton, Illinois died Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Heritage Health in Staunton, Illinois. Born August 5, 1927 in Port Huron, Michigan, he was a son of the late Mr. & Mrs. Calvin & Lillian (Scott) Rowbotham. He married Harriet R. Glaab on June 19, 1948 and she survives. He worked as a Tool & Die Design Engineer for Mueller Brass Company in Port Huron, Michigan for many years. He later worked as a Plant Manager for Lilliston Corporation in Albany, Georgia. Bud served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Staunton and the Staunton American Legion Post #362.

Wife - Harriet Rowbotham – Staunton, Illinois, 1 Daughter - Susan (Bill) Miller – Staunton, Illinois, 1 Son - Steven (Sue) Rowbotham – Bogart, Georgia, 5 Grandchildren - Becky (Corey) Painter, Billy (Tabitha) Miller, Kamela Rowbotham, Derek (Reena) Rowbotham, Lucy Winn Fuller, 9 Great Grandchildren - Cadence & Hallie Miller, Megan Miller, Ashleigh & Zachary Painter, Kaylin & Ayden Rowbotham, Emily Barr, & Abigail Fuller. Many Nieces & Nephews also survive.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by –1 Son - Scott Rowbotham, 1 Grandson - Jonathan Rowbotham & 6 Siblings.
Private Graveside services will be held Monday, April 13, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton with Rev. Nancy Hubert officiating. Memorials are suggested to Adopt-A-Pet of Benld or to First United Methodist Church of Staunton.
