Edward L. Williams

Edward L. Williams, 55 of Staunton, Illinois died at his residence in Staunton on Saturday, April 11, 2020. Born December 29, 1964 in Martinez, California, he was a son of the Late Mr. & Mrs. Clarence & Minnie (Colston) Williams. He married Sarah Boyer on November 7, 2018 and she survives. He was an avid Oakland Raiders fan and enjoyed spending time with his family. Edward also enjoyed fishing. He worked as a Truck Driver.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Williams of Staunton, IL, 6 Children, Mandy Williams of St. Louis, MO, Melissa (James) Shepard of Maryville, IL, Megan Dreyfus of Tampa Bay, FL, Matthew Williams of Collinsville, IL, Marie Williams of Staunton, IL, and Michael Williams of Staunton, IL, 2 Grandchildren, Mason & Callaghan, 1 Step-Brother, Steve Lykins of Caseyville, IL. Several Nieces and a Nephew also survive. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by 1 Sister, Linda Vanfossen, and 2 Brothers, David Williams & Michael Williams.

Private Graveside services will be held Friday, April 17, 2020 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Staunton, Illinois with Pastor Derrick Taylor officiating. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
