Edna B. (Fudge) Kampmann

Edna B. Kampmann, 81, of rural Worden, IL, passed away at 8:25 PM on Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at her residence near Worden, IL.  She was born November 2, 1942 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of the late Arthur V. & Josephine (Blume) Fudge.  She married William K. Kampmann Sr. on December 7, 1958 in St. Louis, MO & he survives.

She was a homemaker, a past member of the River of Life Church of Worden, IL, & a very spiritual person.

Besides her husband, she is survived by eight children -  Kathy (Bryan) Ebersohl of Staunton, IL,  William K. Kampmann Jr. of Williamson, IL,  John (Dorothy) Kampmann of Williamson, IL,  Gene Eric Kampmann of Williamson, IL,  Michael (Kris) Kampmann of Livingston, IL,  Donna (Dr. Panagiotis) Iakovigis of Winter Haven, FL,  April Kampmann (Randolph Orellana) of Edwardsville, IL,  &  Patrick (Lynn) Kampmann of Edwardsville, IL;  thirteen grandchildren -  Gina, Tina, Kenny, William III, Victoria, Marcus, Kaylee, Cody, Jessica, Nathaniel, Andrew, Layla, & John Jr.;  many great grandchildren;  four brothers -  Lester Fudge of Alton, IL,  Eddie Fudge of Sorento, IL,  Mike Fudge of Collinsville, IL,  &  Arthur Fudge Jr. of East St. Louis, IL;  many nieces & nephews also survive.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters -  Lucille, Mary, & another sister in infancy;  & two brothers -  Xavier & George.

There will be no visitation.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11 AM at Williamson Funeral Home in Staunton, with Pastor Art Braden officiating.  Interment immediately following at Worden City Cemetery in Worden, IL.
